Together Our People (TOP) – A Movement for and by the People

Together Our People (TOP) is a citizen-led movement founded on a simple yet powerful idea: true change comes from the people, for the people, with the people. In a world where distrust in traditional politics is growing, TOP embodies a new way of doing politics—rooted in clear principles, concrete policies, and ethical governance.

We are not a structure built on individual personalities but a collective united by shared values: social justice, equal opportunity, inclusion, integrity, solidarity, and respect for diversity. We believe that every Mauritian, wherever they live and whatever their background, deserves a voice, a place, and a dignified future.

Our commitment is clear:

• To build a just, free, and inclusive society where no one is left behind.
• To defend the rights of women, youth, workers, entrepreneurs, and rural communities.
• To combat poverty, corruption, drug proliferation and the centralisation of power.
• To promote environmental justice, technological innovation, and a sustainable economy.
• To make democracy vibrant, participatory, and transparent, both in our institutions and in our internal operations.

TOP is in the process of formation because we believe that building something lasting requires time, listening, openness, and integrity. We do not seek to take power to govern but to return it to those to whom it belongs: the Mauritian people.

Together, we have the power to transform indignation into action, silence into solidarity, and hope into reality.
